Click any of your pieces. It glows yellow to show it is selected!

Green dots appear — click one to move there.
🔴
Red ring = you can capture that enemy! Click it to take them!

White always goes first. Then players take turns one at a time.

Check! Your King is in danger — the square flashes red. You MUST move out of danger immediately!

Castling: The King and Rook can swap if neither has moved yet — great for hiding the King!

Pawn Promotion: When a pawn reaches the far end, you get to pick a new powerful piece!

Stalemate: If a player has no moves but is NOT in check — it is a draw. No winner!
